Angling The Arabian Sea
By Rafiki Yako
Special Correspondent

We were both quiet on the return trip to the port, stunned by the beauty of the sun retiring behind the Bhandar mountains. The captain, rushing to beat the sunset to the marina, cut short the hour-long ride, covering the distance in 45 minutes. We arrived wet, smelly and happy, laden with almost 70 fish. What had begun as a morning of trials ended up as a perfect day, during which we had collected extraordinary memories of the sea.
