I am a highly energetic, fun-loving Leo.

I live and work overseas and love to travel. Formerly in  Morocco, the home of couscous, talismans, and silver kaftans, I recently moved to Kuwait, the land of liquid gold.  I have lived in East Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and South America. My travels have ranged through most of Europe, Central America, Near East Asia, and the U.S.

An eclectic reader and movie fan, I enjoy mysteries, dramas, science fiction as well as action-packed thrillers. I love Star Wars and, of course, The Matrix.  Yes, I watch Star Trek whenever I get the chance, but right now I'm hooked on CSI.  I love delving into the deep mysteries of life and the universe.

My music collection includes everything from Marc Antoine to Zhane, with Bach, Bela Fleck and Bob Marley as mainstays. Although my heart belongs to Santana, Evanescence and Skunk Anansie have captured my imagination.

My favorite pastimes are writing, tennis, swimming, and massage. You also can find me researching family history or taking techie courses online. Fluent in Spanish and Arabic, I also speak Portuguese and some Tagalog, with a smattering of Swahili. I've toyed with learning French, Quechua, and Mandarin, but had to draw the line somewhere.

My work experience includes stints in corporate, non-profit, legal, academic, and government organizations. I currently work in public affairs, which allows me to use all my talents and abilities, so I love it.

A photographer and artist, I seek new ways to view the world and express myself creatively, which includes my passion for cooking amazing, unique meals for others to enjoy.

I love new challenges and discoveries and consider my experience on this planet as a neverending adventure of beauty, mystery, and revelation. Lately, I have found all three while fishing in the Arabian Sea.
